F/aid

A foldable emergency backpack
2021

IMG_4445.jpg

F/aid,
is a foldable emergency first-aid backpack that is designed to tackle the common pain points of
a traditional first-aid kit.

A traditional first-aid kit is often extremely clustered, single-shoulder carried, and often difficult to reach for items in an emergency situation. F/aid is designed to be folded into a backpack with a zipper on top, and by simply unzipping, the backpack will unpack into two separate layers, each consisting of individual pouches for its dedicated medical items. One can either wear the bag on the back and have another person reach for the items or can simply lay the layers flat on the ground, with every item up to grabs. This design will greatly reduce the time to search for items in a clustered bag, and therefore giving full attention to the patient.
